Celebrating its 38th year, The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival was established for the cultural benefit and enjoyment of all residents and visitors to Lake Tahoe with more than 30,000 annual attendees from around the county. In his inaugural season, Producing Artistic Director Charles Fee showcases the outrageous comedy The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). The Festival also presents a rotating selection of live music ranging from funk to classical to bluegrass to rock on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe each week and several children’s educational theatre programs.
At Shakespeare’s Kitchen & Bar, a full service restaurant and premium bar, guests can overlook the beach at Sand Harbor and delight in pre-show dining and intermission coffee and desserts. Dinner can be purchased online for guests to simply pick up at Shakespeare’s Kitchen. The Festival’s VIP lounge Clarity offers stunning panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and creates a unique dining experience for groups up to 100 people.
